Ben Sandford, 30, Skeleton
Introduction
Ben Sandford is heading for his second Olympic Games. He competed in skeleton at Torino 2006 where he came 10th and tells of the power of the haka performed by Kiwi spectators to inspire. Ben says to excel in skeleton you must be fast at the start, stay relaxed in adverse situations, think quickly and have lightening quick reactions. Ben is from Rotorua and has a law degree from Victoria University.
